It is with a heavy heart we tell you that we lost Robin. In his younger years Robin was a national champion show pony who took the children who rode him up through mini-medal and mini-medal maclay. He was used as a lesson horse jumping 7 days a week three hours a day. He quickly became lame and unwanted. We ended up with Robin when he was in his middle 20's. He had never been turned out before so he loved being outside. He was the first horse many of our special needs children from local schools as well as volunteers learned how to brush. He appeared on television in a special that Nickelodeon filmed at our farm. He was loved by so many and was more like a grumpy old man. He was the only one we trusted to have free run of the farm. Robin was 30+ years old, a gentle old soul for whom we provided many golden years.
