My name is Quincy. I am a quarterhorse gelding. I was used as a lesson horse at a large riding facility. I had to work very hard and became lame. I was going to a dealer it didn’t look good. Who knows where I would have ended up; there is a good chance I could have ended up at an auction. Luckily for me a kind woman who used to ride me bought me from the dealer and asked Mylestone to help. I become one of Mylestone’s many rescues. I am not able to be ridden very much I have navicular which makes my front hooves sore. I was also mistreated in my early days. I spook very easily at things and if you don’t let me know you are going to touch me sometimes I will move quickly. I am getting better about trusting people. I go out with a herd of other geldings. I tend to get picked on so I stay to myself. I like having a large stall to move around in at night. I am grateful to have a second chance at life thanks to people who cared about me.

    Companion Only, not rideable
