Wine Tasting at Lloyd Farm Helps Mylestone

Mylestone Equine Rescue was the lucky beneficiary of a wonderful Wine Tasting Event held by the Lloyd Family at their Enchanted Woods Farm on August 2 to help raise money for the horses.

Sommeliers from Tewksbury Fine Wine and Spirits were on hand to serve guests.

Approximately 100 guests enjoyed a variety of wines to sample from Tewksbury Wine and Spirits and a delicious spread of hors-d’oeuvres, main dishes and desserts from Kings Supermarkets, all courtesy of the Lloyd family. In addition, there was a Silent Auction with many wonderful gifts generously donated by local businesses, all listed below. There was a live band, The Ellen Ryan Trio, (see photo left), a lovely atmosphere and lots of fun for all.

Rich, Debbie and Emily Lloyd are long-standing supporters of Mylestone. Their kindness and generosity helped the horses immensely and enabled us to rescue a new pony, Jiminy Cricket.

We cannot thank the Lloyds enough for organizing this fabulous event to help Mylestone raise much-needed funds. It was a lovely evening and a huge help to our efforts.

Thanks to the many businesses and individuals who helped raise money for the horses!
