Another Great Help A Horse Day!

Our now famous Mylestone Help A Horse Day banner and a few of the selections in our silent auction.

We were fortunate to have a great group of volunteers put on Help a Horse Day at Horsemenís Outlet in Lebanon NJ. Sarah Prant Ercolano, store owner, and store manager Mary Ellen OíToole made it possible for this event to happen!

Some of the delicious baked goods available in our bake sale.

Once again we were extremely blessed to have the offer of a $10,000 match from one of our generous donors. All donations were matched up to the $10,000.

Here are just some of the wonderful volunteers who helped out at Help A Horse Day - we couldn't do it without you!

The weather certainly didnít cooperate this year -- it was cool and rainy. We also switched days to Sunday and we think this may have affected our turnout. However, the event still raised money for the horses. We met our $10,000 match thanks to online donations, donations through the mail, and at our Help a Horse Day event. While we didnít raise as much money as last year, the event was still very successful for the horses!

As always, Mylestone offers a truly unique array of gifts in our silent auction that never fails to attract our guests' bids.

Our Mylestone tees in new colors drew some attention!

We had a silent auction and a wonderful variety of items for bid. Our bake sale was really fabulous with delicious goodies baked by our volunteers and supporters. We also had Mylestone merchandise available with our new t-shirts in a pretty purple and bright green color for sale! It was a fun day despite the weather.

These lovely flower baskets were available for a very reasonable cost and benefited the horses!

Beautiful flowers were donated for sale by Carol Mulvaney. Sarah generously donated food to be cooked for the event and then donated the proceeds.

Austin Thompson helped out in collecting the donations for the food pantry.

Volunteer Davin accepted food pantry donations and entered names to win the $500 Horsemen's gift card.

A food drive was also held for the local food pantry where Susankelly volunteers. Everyone that donated a food item received a ticket to be entered to win a $500 Horsemenís Outlet gift card. Susankelly had a carload of food to take to the pantry thanks to the event, and a lucky winner has $500 to spend at Horsemen's Outlet!

Volunteers Elise and Libbi managed the bake sale and made quite a few people happy with their yummy choices.

Marie and Tracy helped our guests choose from among the many Mylestone merchandise items available.

A huge thank you to Horsemen's Outlet staff and Mylestone's Board (above) and all the volunteers who pitched in and made Help A Horse Day possible.

We wish to thank everyone who helped make this event possible for the rescue horses. Whether you donated, baked, bought, and/or attended, you made a difference and we thank you!
