Can you please bring a can - or two - of soup when you come to Open House?” asks Scarlett.
We are now making it a tradition to ask our guests at Open House to please bring a can of soup with them to help feed the hungry. Sadly, there are many children and adults in our country, and right here in this area, who don’t know where their next meal will come from.
Many of the Mylestone horses we rescued were once starved. They no longer have to worry about going hungry, and want to share their good fortune by helping those who don’t have enough to eat. A simple can of soup can do wonders.
The cans of soup will benefit NORWESCAP’s Food Pantry of Phillipsburg which serves Hunterdon, Warren and Sussex counties. Last year, NORWESCAP was overwhelmed with gratitude when we delivered the 479 POUNDS!! of soup that you donated, and are extremely appreciative that we will help once again this year.
We hope you’ll be inspired by the Mylestone horses’ mission to give back to the community. Won’t you bring a can, (or two), of soup with you to Open House? Thank you!
