Horsemen's Outlet staff and Mylestone volunteers made a great team for Help A Horse Day!
Mylestone Equine Rescue’s second annual Help a Horse Day event at Horsemen’s Outlet, Saturday April 25th and Sunday the 26th, was an amazing success! Saturday we had invited St. Hubert’s and S and L Animal Rescue to join us to celebrate, and both brought many dogs available for adoption. We had a silent auction with an array of items, and every item got bids! We had Mylestone merchandise for sale, a wonderful bake sale filled with goodies, and a tack swap that benefited Mylestone, thanks to the donations of tack from Mylestone supporters and Horsemen’s Outlet. Thanks also to Kierson Farms for providing pony rides and donating the proceeds to benefit Mylestone.
Tents in front of the store held our silent auction, bake sale, merchandise sale and much more!
Horsemen’s also generously donated all the proceeds from the sale of food that day. We had Girl Scouts join us and they helped out, too! Sunday we scaled back and had just a merchandise table and a bake sale. It was so wonderful to see so many of our supporters come out and sign our rosters!
Tempting goodies at our bake sale always draw a hungry crowd.
We had a wonderful array of items in our silent auction including his and hers Chanel baskets.
We are so thankful to the staff at Horsemen’s for their devotion to Mylestone and our volunteers and board of directors who gave it their all to make this successful for the horses! We truly appreciate the support far and wide for this event, from donations to donated items; thank you for making Help a Horse Day so special and supporting our efforts to win another ASPCA grant!
