We hope you were able to make it to Open House this year. It was an amazing day. The weather was perfect, and everyone who visited was so impressed with the horses, the farm, our bake sale and silent auction, and how friendly and helpful our volunteers were. We are so thankful to all of you who came and made the day a success and to all our volunteers, without whom this day wouldn't be possible. Whether you were able to come or not, please enjoy some photos of the day!
Just a small sampling of the wonderful items that were available in our silent auction.
All visitors received a warm welcome from our volunteers Lois Commander, l., and Cynthia Barkman.
Greg was ready with a smile at the Mylestone merchandise table waiting for the visitors - and customers - who would soon be arriving.
Our bake sale all but sold out by the end of the day, thanks to delicious homemade goodies like these horse cupcakes made by volunteer, Christine Heimsch.
Sundance was a wonderful good will ambassador for Mylestone at the front paddock, here saying his hellos to several appreciative visitors.
Mylestone is very fortunate to have several talented vendors to come and spend the day, such as artist and longtime friend Barbara Hornstra whose work is pictured here.
Handsome Dillon was a big attraction in the barn. Sharielle Lawrence-Cadet and Dayna Rogers were among the many volunteers stationed next to the rescue horses throughout the farm to educate and inform our visitors about the horses.
