Each year we ask for your help in making our annual event - Open House - a big success, and you've been great. This year, Open House will be held Sunday, October 12th, and one of our biggest draws, other than the horses, of course, is our Silent Auction.
Everyone loves bidding on the wonderful selection of gifts and baskets, which always includes special themed baskets, and the silent auction is a fabulous fundraiser for the horses. And who makes it so successful? You do! You've come up with such creative ideas for baskets, or donated items that let us put together great baskets.
We're starting now because putting together a Silent Auction takes a lot of time and energy and we want it to be spectacular. Can you help? Our greatest need is for complete, themed baskets - wrapped and ready to go, but we also need individual items that can be bid on as a one-of-a-kind or which could be added to baskets that Mylestone puts together. We can always use tickets to events, museums or the like, trips, gift cards, fabulous dinners, overnight stays at bed and breakfasts, time-shares, gift certificates, etc. Whatever would be a special treat for you or your family will work in a basket or on its own and get that bidding going!
Don’t know what to donate? We have the answer! You can be the sponsor for an Open House basket. Make a donation earmarked for a Silent Auction basket and we'll happily do all the work - we’ll shop for the items and build a beautiful themed basket with your name on it as the donor.
