Come to Our 14th Annual Open House!

Open House

Sunday, October 13th, 12 - 4 p.m.

Raindate: Sunday October 20th, 12 - 4 p.m.

If you're lucky, you'll see Cloudy putting on a show for his visitors and fans!

It's that wonderful time again - the time when you can come to the farm and meet all the rescue horses! You'll also enjoy many other treats such as our huge Silent Auction, our fabulous bake sale/tent, vendors' booths and tables with equine art, jewelry, gifts and more, our latest 2014 Mylestone calendars, veterinary information, plus the opportunity to learn more about each horse and what Mylestone is all about.

A visitor at Open House 2012 meets Piper who was just beginning her road to recovery.

Meeting the horses themselves is what draws so many to Mylestone's Annual Open House. Each has a history of neglect, abuse, or immediate need of rescue when they faced going to auction and/or slaughter. The farm, with so many success stories, is a wonderfully healing place to visit, and you cannot help but feel good when you see how healthy and happy the rescue horses are today.

Madeline, always a visitor favorite, will be waiting to meet you in the barn. If you want to remember her after Open House, you can purchase her book, Madeline's Miracle, which will be on sale right across the barn aisle from Madeline.

Please mark your calendars and be sure to come visit at Open House - Sunday, October 13th from 12 - 4 pm. For a taste of what you'll find at Open House, take a look at last year's event.

Spread the word about Open House! Download our Open House Flyer here, print out and post wherever horse and animal lovers might see it. Help bring more people to meet our wonderful rescue horses!

We are often asked what Open House guests can bring along to help the horses or the operation of the rescue. You can find a list here, and when you arrive there will be a pick-up truck as you enter to accept your kind donations.

Important! - Please remember, for everyone's safety, no dogs will be allowed at Open House. The horses are not familiar with dogs and may spook, potentially injuring volunteers and/or visitors. Thanks for understanding.
