Molly Rescued from Neglect at Local Ranch

Molly is one of 7 horses from a horse ranch in Warren County which has been investigated numerous times by the NJSPCA. For failing to provide basic care to the animals on their property, the owners have been charged with animal cruelty and have been banned from keeping Molly and the other horses and a handful of cats also living there. (The complete story can be found here.) All the horses suffered neglect ranging from issues with their eyes, their hooves, arthritis and more. Mylestone has taken Molly into our care and has been assisting the SPCA and Colleen McDonald in placing the other horses.

Molly is very pretty and you can’t help but be drawn to her with those big brown eyes. She is not ridable due to severe arthritis and will require special shoes. Please consider donating towards Molly’s care ... she truly deserves the medical care she was denied for so long. She is bright and so sweet, about 14.2 hands high, and 15 years old.

Once we have been able to fully evaluate her and determine the long term farrier care she will require, we will be able to make a determination as to whether she can be adopted. Meanwhile, your helping by making a donation for Molly is greatly appreciated. If you'd like to help her out, you can also be Molly's sponsor.
