August 7th, 2010 was a wonderful evening at Enchanted Woods Farm. The Lloyd Family held their 3rd annual wine tasting to benefit Mylestone Equine Rescue. We had glorious weather and a delightful evening featuring delicious wines from 56˚ Wine of Bernardsville, NJ and food catered by Debbie Mauriello.
Brian Panella and Chris Cree, M.W., of 56˚ Wine of Bernardsville, NJ were our sommeliers for the wine tasting.
Our silent auction had so many wonderul gifts and treats donated!
A large tent held Mylestone's display and silent auction. We were amazed at the generosity of people this year, our silent auction had over 40 items for bid. There was a wide array of donations including gift certificates to bed and breakfasts, a hand painted purse, a gift certificate towards a kitchen remodeling, a wide variety of restaurant gift certificates, assorted horse items, including a beautiful large photo from Jen Wenzel, as well as gift baskets.
Guests were seated at tables on the property, under a big tent with Mylestone information and silent auction items, or on the patio.
Around the Lloyd’s property were tables with beautiful flowers where you could sit and enjoy the evening while watching their horses graze on the hills around us.
