Dora was a grade large pony, and was over 40 years old at her passing. This sweetheart was originally rescued from the New Holland auctions, but came to Mylestone from another equine rescue that needed to place all their horses. Knowing that Dora would be difficult to place due to her age, we agreed to take her. She had chronic heaves, (asthma), and needed ongoing medication. She also had Lyme's disease, and was always so grateful to be treated. Dora was a real fighter with a strong will to live. She truly enjoyed all the attention she received, and we know, bidding farewell to Dora, that she had the best life she could've had with us.

Dora left us February 1, 2007. Please read our memorial for our lovely lady.
