Sand Dune is a Palomino Appaloosa mare, about 30 years old (in 2010.) She is lame with side bone and other issues, but would make a very good companion. Dune needs special shoeing because of an old quarter crack in her hoof. Because of this, she is not ridable but available for adoption as a companion only. Dune also requires expensive medication for heaves and needs her grain and hay soaked. She currently lives outside and is a good companion to two other mares.
